Meet the founder
Dr. Jacob Adserballe, BBA, DVM, MBA
Jacob is a driven entrepreneur, lifelong learner, collaborative enthusiast, and masterful mediator, boasting an impressive tenure of over 30 years. Fueled by an unyielding passion for deep green construction and high performance teams, Jacob is dedicated to providing exceptional business support to his fellow veterinarians. By empowering them with high-performance veterinary teams, he enables unparalleled services, and raising the bar in the veterinary profession.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jacob finds solace and fulfillment in his role as a loving husband and father of two sons. He embraces every opportunity to spend quality time with his family, including their beloved critters.
Jacob’s diverse interests include general construction, leadership and management, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, trail riding and hiking in the outback, participating in triathlons and completing Ironman challenges, as well as indulging in the thrill of downhill skiing with friends.

- Founded, incorporated, launched and operated over a dozen companies since 1992
- Designed, constructed and successfully launched 4 veterinary practices to date
- Founded and operated the construction company Alberta Property Management Services Inc. since 2004

- Family Pet Hospital & 24 Hour Pet Emergency Centre, Lethbridge
- Waterton Private Castle, Waterton
- PEAK Veterinary Hospital, Pincher Creek
- Pet Hospital Renovation Project, Calgary
- Launched Auxillio VetShield Ltd, a full service veterinary consulting and implementation company, in 2020
- Has been an active member in the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association since 2002 and has served on ABVMA Companion Animal Advisory, Registration Committee and Investigations
Lead Team Members
Crystal Maclean, Finance & Payroll Administrator
Crystal has a background in finance, bookkeeping, and business administration. She has experience with start-up businesses and loves setting up successful business processes. Crystal also holds all parties accountable and makes sure everyone is paid on time.
Crystal is originally from Nova Scotia and moved to Alberta in 1986 where she grew up in Calgary. She moved to Lethbridge in 2019 and now has twin daughters. Crystal holds a BMus degree from the University of Calgary, Certificate of Bookkeeping Level 1, 2, Year End & Financial Statements, PCP Certification. She has been a bookkeeper for the past 14 years. In her free time, Crystal volunteers as President of the Twins & Triplets Club of Lethbridge, enjoy outings with her family and travel.
